Dr. Sharon M. Bush-Coaxum, a native of Mobile, Alabama, earned her Bachelor’s degree from Tuskegee University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University.

She is a board-certified OB/GYN with a deep commitment to women's health through every stage of life. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bush-Coaxum proudly serves as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force Reserve, providing essential care to our nation’s Airmen and veterans.

Dr. Bush-Coaxum believes in a personalized, compassionate approach to medicine, stating:
“I am dedicated to providing high-quality care for each patient—from adolescence to menopause and beyond. I understand the value of communication and take the time to listen to my patients.”

Her clinical interests include:

• Preventative Women’s Healthcare

• Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

• Low and High-Risk Obstetrics

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bush-Coaxum enjoys spending time with her family, watching football, and relaxing on the beach.
